I like milkshakes … and squats. Which coincidentally cancel each other out.
Enter the Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie. For those who want their squats to count.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Kazein) *
2 Tbsp natural peanut butter
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
4 ice cubes
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tsp cocao nibs
Combine protein powder, peanut butter, cocoa powder, ice, and almond milk. Blend until smooth.
Add cocao nibs and pulse until just broken up but still chunky.
*I used vanilla protein powder because that’s what I had. You could use chocolate; however, I would suggest skipping the cocoa powder. Alternatively, you could use natural flavour, but then you may want to add a couple of dates or a teaspoon of honey.
