Saturdays are for shiny pants

20140524-151435.jpgWhen I became single last February I did what any newly single girl should do: I bought the tightest pair of pleather pants I could shimmy into.

You might be surprised to know, however, that there are really few places one can wear pleather pants.

Wait, this is not surprising?

Yeah, so clearly it wasn’t the most practical purchase. But, like, sometimes a girl just has to channel her inner Catwoman.

And today is Saturday, so I think that’s a good enough reason to bust ’em out, right?

  1. Amazing and daring look. In New York City, people were tight pleather or leather pants to go grocery shopping or to go for a stroll in the park.

Of course, that’s New York City. I don’t know where you are or what the “rules” are where you are, but I wonder what the reaction would be if you were to rebel against these “rules”. Whatever you do, continue to have fun with them and with your writing.

    1. Why thank you, sir! The “rule” around here is: wear as much camo as possible! Well, not exactly, but I am from a little farm town on the outskirts of the city, and so the trends tend to not make it all the way out here. That said, I’m learning to just take ’em and run with ’em! Thanks so much for reading 🙂

  2. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LEATHER PANTS. If I had your body I would wear them myself – even at aged 81!! With the right figure and legs they can look so elegant (especially with HEELS) and/or as casual as you want. Wear them with delight – ANYTIME, ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE. YUM!!! Just keep doing what you’re doing. Love you. xoxo
